Cashier - Indian Nationals (Freshers Welcome)

We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Indian nationals to join our team as cashiers in our store located in Sharjah, UAE. This is a great opportunity for freshers to gain experience and kickstart their career in the retail industry.

As a cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory, and providing excellent customer service at all times. Your primary duty will be to process payments from customers using cash, credit/debit cards, or other forms of payment. You will also be responsible for issuing receipts and change accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate for this position should have previous experience working as a cashier, but freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply. We value honesty, reliability, and strong work ethics in our employees. Therefore, we prefer candidates with a biometric passport.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a smile and provide exceptional customer service
- Scan items accurately at the checkout counter
- Process payments using various methods such as cash, credit/debit cards, or vouchers
- Issue receipts and change accurately
- Maintain accurate records of daily sales and inventory
- Keep track of discounts, coupons or promotions offered by the store
- Ensure that the checkout area is clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- Must be an Indian national (Non-nationals with valid UAE work permit may also apply)
- Previous experience working as a cashier preferred but not required
- A biometric passport is mandatory
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic language skills would be an advantage)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
